HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL
Hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to the year 2011.
An update of what we have and haven't accomplished since the first of October, 2010.
We had the annual October "BUNNY SHOOT" in a gravel pit on the road to Lake Louise. It was cold; only a few people showed; bunnies were few; camping was fun and sharing of friendship and tall tales were abundant. A good time was had by all. Hope next year more can attend. Be thinking of a new place to have the hunt that might be less of a distance to travel. Any ideas you might have where bunnies are abundant are welcome.
The scheduled turkey shoot schedule for November 13-14th was missed. Ken and I were dealing with and helping Jeanne with the year passing of Stan Vlahovich at that time and totally spaced trying to put one together . We are sorry and hopefully it didn't upset to many people. The Cook Inlet turkey shoot was the following weekend so hopefully those that were anticipating our shoot made it to that shoot. Again, we apologize for our goof.
Ken has been on the phone trying to update our email list. Hopefully emails will reach more of our members.
THE FIRST WORKSHOP OF THE NEW YEAR is scheduled for this coming Sunday, January 9th at Dale Defrees's shop in Chugiak. Directions to the shop are: Go East @ North Birchwood exit; turn right at the "T". Go approximately 1/4 of a mile ...shop is on the left. Look for TAA signs. The workshop will start around 10:00 a.m. and last until whenever. This workshop will be on building a "BOARD BOW". If you are interested, bring a board to make into a bow. It is also a shared pot luck....bring something to snack on. Hope to see you there.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Kurt Schoephster with the passing of his wonderful wife "Judy". Her presence will be missed by all.
